Crabgrass Shield

is a pre-emergent defense against invading crabgrass for use on established grass and turf. It uses natural ingredients to provide a barrier against crabgrass before it appears.

Crabgrass Shield is most effective when applied in the spring. Depending on weather conditions, it can provide up to 8 weeks of protection.

Crabgrass Shield Application Instructions

• Apply in spring/early summer to established turf grass before crabgrass emerges.
• When applying Crabgrass Shield allow product to dry before seeding.
• A second Crabgrass Shield application is recommended at the full rate 5–6 weeks after initial application.
• For best results, applications should be watered in to reach target weed bank.

Application Rate

• Apply 32 ounces of Crabgrass Shield in a minimum of 1-1.5 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq. ft.
